COURSE OVERVIEW

In this course the attendee will learn how to lead a Lean-Agile transformation supported by practices and principles from the Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe).

By participating in the course the attendee will also have the option to certify as a SAFe® Practice Consultant (SPC) and Agile Coach and thus become enabled to teach and certify others using SAFe courses.

The training is directed towards using the SAFe framework best but is also focused on learning how to teach the Leading SAFe training both in the room and online. The attendee will learn how to build high-performing Agile Teams, Trains, and Portfolios and apply a customer-centric view using Design Thinking, Agile product delivery, and Lean portfolio management. The final part of the training is focused on using the SAFe implementation roadmap to shift an organization from a traditional way of creating products and services to a modern Agile and Lean approach.

RECOMMENDED PREREQUISITES

Anyone who will be a part of an Lean-Agile transformation is welcome in the course. However, we strongly recommend the following prerequisites if you intend to take the included (and optional) SAFe SPC certification exam.

  • Five or more years of experience from development, testing, requirements gathering, product/project management
  • Three or more years experience from Agile systems engineering
  • One or more Agile certifications
